Adi Albachar’s show is a sort of translation of her life story, with the addition of Andalusian influences, into a stimulating musical experience. Hymns and other familiar works are intertwined and presented in a variety of languages – Moroccan, Greek, Spanish, Ladino, and, of course, Hebrew. Very quickly, the barrier between the stage and the audience dissolved and the performance becomes a celebration of shared song and human connected through sound and voices.
