“Alaev’s Living Room” was born as a moving gift from Sibi Alaev to his mother, Eda. After taking a ten-year break from the stage, Eda wanted to return to perform and play the qanun in a band in front of an audience. Sibi’s gift gave birth to this ensemble and brought his mother back to the special instrument and to the love of the audience.

The show included unique adaptations of the timeless classics of Haim Nachman Bialik, Yankele Rotblit, Rachel Shapira, Ehud Manor, Arkadi Duchin, Micha Sheetrit and others, alongside melodies and rythems from the Middle East and the Silk Road Countries.
